Motion to Suppress Granted – Evidence Suppressed (R.B)

Our client, R. Bernard, was pulled over and unlawfully detained after a traffic stop by a Louisiana State Police trooper. During that stop, his Fourth Amendment rights were violated when law enforcement officers illegally searched his vehicle discovering 7 pounds of cocaine.

To protect our client’s interests and constitutional rights, we filed a Motion to Suppress requesting that the Court suppress any and all evidence seized as a result of the unlawful search and seizure.

Our hearing was on March 24, 2021 and on the week of April 12, 2021, Judge Robert Wyatt ruled in our favor and ordered that the evidence be suppressed and will not be able to be used against our client. We are extremely pleased with Judge Wyatt’s ruling and that our client has received the justice he deserves.
